MEDIA PARTNERSHIP / BRAND

The partnership does not end with the credits.

How we would evaluate and activate a partnership between a home brand and an audiovisual format about practical projects.

PLEASE NOTEHypothetical scenario, with no reference to a real brand, channel or program. No audience, negotiation, collaboration or performance is presented as achieved.

01 / The situation

The problem we would start from

We assume the brand is known for its products but also wants to be considered for the help it offers in choosing them. The company receives a media partnership proposal.

We would not start by creating the sponsor spot. We would check whether the association can support the objective: helping people better understand what concrete support the brand offers when they plan a project.

02 / The decision

The first decision: is the partnership worth it?

We would ask for data on the audience and deliverables, the schedule, costs and rights. We would check how well the context fits the brand, product availability and the team’s capacity to respond.

We would compare the package with alternatives: the brand’s own production distributed to a relevant audience, in-store demonstrations or a regional pilot. We would not assume that a TV association is the better option just because it is more visible.

03 / The idea

The idea: “Before you start.”

The brand’s own extension would help people prepare a project: what needs measuring, which questions are worth asking, which materials are compatible and when a specialist is needed.

One example of content would be a sheet for preparing a conversation about a renovation: dimensions, use, constraints, budget and timeline. The value would lie in clarifying the decision, not in disguising a catalog as a guide.

We would not publish instructions for dangerous work without the right expertise. Technical guides would be reviewed by specialists.

04 / What we build

What would actually exist

We would propose a campaign page with useful resources, three original demonstration pieces and a clear way to ask questions or schedule a conversation. This is a starting point for estimating, not a mandatory package.

The sponsor appearance would follow the format and the applicable rules, validated by the broadcaster and legal advisers. The brand’s own commercial materials would be separate and clearly labeled. Any use of the show’s brand, footage or people would depend on explicit rights.

Without those rights, we would produce original content without suggesting an endorsement by the producers. We would not build the concept around an approval we do not have.

05 / The journey

How the interest would continue

Anyone who reaches the page could use the basic resources without having to leave contact details. A person asking for help would see what the conversation involves, the response time and any limits of the service.

We would prepare the team that handles the requests, so that the campaign’s promise is backed by the experience. If the message says we simplify the choice, the answer should not just be sending a catalog.

06 / The evaluation

Evaluation and limits

We would check contractual delivery separately from the effects on the brand. If the budget allows, we would propose a recognition and association study, with a methodology set before the campaign. We would track use of the resources and the quality of requests, without confusing downloads with sales.

An increase in searches would not prove the effect of the partnership on its own. We would also look at promotions, seasonality and other campaigns. Causal attribution would require a suitable evaluation design.

07 / The limits

When we would recommend not going further

If, after buying the exposure, there is no budget left for production and response, we would reconsider the project. The same applies if the audience does not fit or the rights do not allow a useful extension.

NOT MORE. would propose the strategy and the integrated concept. Media buying, specialized production, approvals and the audience study would have distinct responsibilities, agreed with the relevant partners.

The association would create the context. The usefulness offered afterward should give the brand a reason to stay in people’s minds.

08 / Next step

Have you received a sponsorship package?

The first deliverable can be a reasoned decision, including the decision not to buy it.
