MARSAY

Made to measure from the first interaction

A Shopify website rebuilt around the MARSAY experience: inspiration, fabrics, personalization and a showroom appointment. Design and content bring the brand’s relationship with each client into focus.

Made to measure at the center of the digital experience.

A real project from our team’s experience.

The work at a glance

Objective
Align the website with the made-to-measure business model and the brand’s commercial priorities.
Scope
Navigation and content restructuring, a new design, service presentation, a dedicated wedding and occasion journey, and appointment inquiries.
Outcome
An experience connecting outfit discovery with an understanding of the service and a visit to the showroom.
01

The category context

Made to measure involves a choice that extends beyond the photograph. Customers need to understand what they can personalize, how proportions are established and what happens in the showroom. The website prepares that experience by providing inspiration alongside a useful explanation of the service.

Outfit photography and fabric mills provide valuable reference points, but the consultant’s role is also part of the offer. Someone may appreciate an image without knowing which of its details are available to them. Content about materials, choices and process makes that connection more tangible.

For MARSAY, the redesign brought an existing business model into sharper focus. Made to measure and wedding dressing already belonged to the offer. The project gave them a hierarchy and a digital journey that explain the service more fully, from initial exploration to an appointment request.

02

Different intentions with a shared next step

Someone considering a business suit, someone preparing for a wedding and someone exploring personalization for the first time arrive with different questions. Navigation and dedicated pages allow those intentions to be addressed in their own context while remaining connected to the core service.

For wedding dressing, package comparisons bring the components of a complete outfit and the differences between options together. For made to measure, details and process explain how the garment takes shape. Appointment requests provide a shared next step, with meeting types that reflect the customer’s readiness.

Navigation, personalization and the appointment form work together to organize the offer, explain the choices and provide a route to the showroom. The design can therefore be evaluated through what it enables visitors to do, from exploring a category to preparing for a meeting.

03

Letting the business model set the hierarchy

We organized the journey around the made-to-measure service. Styles offer inspiration, fabrics and details demonstrate possibilities, and consultation connects those choices to the client’s needs.

Navigation makes those relationships visible. Visitors can explore a product category, understand the personalization experience or begin with a particular occasion.

Seasonal content remains part of the brand’s world, within a structure that makes its commercial priorities easy to find. Shopify was retained, with the experience redesigned around this business model.

Desktop navigation organizes collections, the service and occasions.
04

Making the service tangible

Personalization becomes meaningful through specific choices: fabric, lapel shape, buttons, lining and proportions. The website introduces those decisions before the visit.

The process is explained in stages, from the appointment and consultation to fabric selection, measurements, fittings and delivery. Each stage gives visitors a reference point for what happens next and how they take part.

This information supports confidence through clarity. Visitors can understand the service and arrive with more considered questions and preferences.

05

A dedicated journey for an important occasion

For a wedding or formal event, a client considers a complete outfit in relation to style, timing and budget. The dedicated occasion page brings those concerns into one coherent journey.

Three packages explain the included pieces and fabric differences. A comparison helps visitors evaluate the options in one place, without assembling the offer from separate pages.

Inspiration is supported by process information, practical details and frequently asked questions. The page connects an aesthetic preference with a conversation about the right configuration.

06

Recognizing different levels of readiness

Someone exploring for the first time needs a different conversation from someone ready to begin an order. The website reflects this through two appointment types: discovering the options and starting the ordering process.

Appointment invitations are connected to relevant pages. The inquiry form lets visitors share their interests, event date and other useful context before the meeting.

The team then confirms the appointment. This continuity connects the digital experience with the time and attention offered in the showroom.

07

Design that gives the product and service room

The visual direction uses menswear photography, fabrics and details to establish the brand’s atmosphere. Pages alternate between inspiration and the information needed to evaluate the offer.

The premium character comes from the coherence of the experience: product presentation, information hierarchy, service explanations and the invitation to a personal consultation. Design supports discovery and the next practical step.

08

What the project changed

MARSAY has a website that explains the service at the center of its business. Collections, personalization, occasion dressing and appointment inquiries connect within a shared journey.

The change is visible in the experience: a visitor can discover a style, understand the options and request a meeting with useful context already in place. The website prepares the relationship that continues in the showroom.
